Dental Implants Toronto

Dental implants are an excellent way to improve the look of your smile as well as your bite. Whether you have lost a tooth due to an accident, illness, disease, or other condition, a dental implant can completely replace the missing tooth root, resulting in a permanent replacement tooth that looks and functions just like your natural teeth.

We are the right choice for dental implants Etobicoke and area. Our team is skilled and experienced at dental implant procedures, which means you will get the high-quality care that you require and deserve.

Choosing Dental Implants

Dental implants are an effective way to replace a missing or damaged tooth. While full or partial dentures, as well as bridges, have typically been used for tooth replacement, there are potential drawbacks to these procedures, such as difficulty eating certain foods, irritation, pain, and inconvenience.

With dental implants, the artificial tooth (or teeth) is implanted and anchored into your jawbone. This means that the replacement will look and function just like the rest of your teeth. Not only does this mean less pain and inconvenience in the long run, but it gives you more confidence to live your life as you always have, without worrying about the state of your teeth. Book the appointment at our dental implants Toronto clinic today!

The Dental Implant Process

If you have a missing tooth or teeth, and are interested in dental implants, our team will arrange for a consultation with you to discuss your situation. Your gums and jawbone structure must be healthy enough to support the implants. Our dental team can tell you whether dental implants are right for you following the consultation.

The actual dental implant surgery is often a multi-stage process. Depending on your situation, the damaged tooth may need to be removed and your jaw must be prepared for the implant process.

The next stage is where the implants are placed into your jawbone. This is a surgical procedure that requires skilled and experienced dental surgeons. Our Etobicoke dental implant team has the experience and skill necessary to perform this complex process.

Following the surgery, there is a healing process that may last several months. Much of this stage is devoted to waiting for new bone growth in your jaw. Once your jaw and soft tissue have healed, our team will place the final tooth or teeth into your jaw.
